T. Taylor brings more than 40 years of leadership experience across automotive retail, investment banking, and strategic advisory. Raised in the Midwest in a family deeply rooted in the automotive industry, Taylor began his career at specialty engineering firm Hess & Eisenhardt before joining Toyota Motor Sales, where he led North American product planning and played a key role in the original Lexus launch team. He later built a successful career in automotive retail operations as an operating partner in multiple dealerships and worked alongside organizations such as Joe Gibbs Racing and Southeast Toyota Distributors, while advising emerging automotive technology companies. Taylor went on to lead the Automotive Retail Investment Banking practice at The Presidio Group and later established the Automotive Retail practice at Truist Securities. Throughout his career, he has led more than 60 automotive M&A transactions totaling over $3 billion and supported more than $8 billion in financings across dealerships, fleet leasing, vehicle auctions, and related technology companies. Today, he serves as Managing Partner at Accrual Equity Partners, an investment firm focused on automotive-centric opportunities.
